Hi I am a first time chicken owner and I originally got a bunch of different chickens from different places without realizing that there are sicknesses that chickens can carry into your flock and I have two chickens that are completely fine one chicken that has bubbles in his eye, one chicken who cant breath very well, and the other two are just tired. they’ve all been around each other so I feel like they probably all have what I’m assuming is MG I don’t have anywhere to quarantine them away from each other and I heard that it stays in their system for the rest of your life I don’t know if I should just put my chickens are together And chance them I don’t have anywhere to quarantine them away from each other I have three of them inside while the other three are outside and it’s becoming too much I can’t keep them inside I don’t have a separate place for them outside and I heard that it stays in their system for the rest of their life I don’t know if I should just put my chickens all together and chance them being outside All together or do I kill them all? I don’t really understand this disease I don’t know if you can eat the eggs of chicken to have it and if it matters I don’t know how to keep them away from birds in my yard and I don’t know how to keep the birds out of my yard I have a really big yard. I have no idea what I’m doing I’m freaking out because I feel so bad that I just brought these chickens home to their death can you have chickens that carry this sickness and still eat their eggs? Do you have to kill them or give them medicine because after antibiotics I don’t think I would feel very comfortable eating the eggs. I don’t know what to do My parents are telling me to just put them outside and let them do what they got do and if they die they die there’s just chickens but i just was wondering if this was a good choice? And if i could just keep them outside and see if they survive? Or is it dangerous for me to keep chickens that are carriers?
