Still might be a good idea to make sure she's good and healthy. Check for parasites, check for crop issues, etc. Just in case.

i did take her out, but she would throw stuff on her then just beck in the boxI don't have a roo, either. Maybe take her out and see what she does?
You don't need a roo, just some fertile eggs ... or some fakes and a pullet chick or two when the time comes. If you decide to let her hatch, make sure you have a solid plan for cockerels. Not a "Well, I'll rehome them," plan, but a "This is the actual place where they will go" plan!aww now i want a roo, she wants to be a mama!!!!
