I need some help! I found several baby chicks i have the remaining one on heating pad because I didn't have a light. what do I feed her she is hungry but very small and weak? Someone please help me

She can drink sugar water to help perk her up. Someone correct me if I am wrong but if you don't have chick feed you can scramble an egg and let her eat that.

How big are they? Are they all down or do they have any feathers yet? You can also put hot water in a water bottle with a towel around it for them to warm themselves with. You may have to to dip their beaks in the sugar water so they will drink.

Thanks for all your help but they all died
Hi,
here's what you do. Go to Tractor Supply or your local feeds store and buy a 4 oz. bottle of Poultry Nutri-Drench.
If anything was going to save those chicks, this would have been it. It doesn't need to be digested. When chicks
look sick you often don't have a lot of time. I am so sorry you lost the babies. I a sure you did your best,
I keep a bottle handy when have chicks around. Here you can read more about it.

Karen, thanks you so much for responding I am going to get that this week so I have it on hand. I did try to warm and give them a chance but when I got them they were already emitting a smell of death. But I feel that at least I gave them some comfort but the were so dehydrated and thin that I knew that they did have much of a chance. Out here there are people who allow their birds to roam freely and they lay where ever. All you can do is try!
