Hi, i am so enjoying this thread,I hope im not interupting, I have a gorgeous lavender pekin roo, called George Crooney (after George Clooney) who I am convinced is a sex addict. He's always at it, so I just keep lots of hens. It gets light at about six but he would start at 4am "crooning" away outside our bed room window. My husband would shout at him and throw things at him out the window to chase him away, eventually we just locked him up. Now they have such an intense hate- hate relationship, all is peaceful until my husband comes home. George will stand just out of throwing range and literally shout at him and taunt him. He really acts up if my husband pets one of the hens. He does the "dance", complete with leg stamping, strutting and shouting and lots of feather puffing. Hearing what you have all been talking about dominance, i realise that when my hubby is home, george is not boss anymore.
