Help I have attack of the flys!

Too late to be effective this year but get ready next Spring and purchase Fly Predators. This is probably the highest recommended product for fly control for horses, chickens, dogs, or if you just want the numbers down for any reason.

Like this site says, I to find the fan very effective Flies so bad this year, I pointed a box fan just by the door going outside of my house, then when someone opens the the door, is simply blows them the other way (outside).

Go to Tractor Supply or any Home Garden section and most any store and look in their fly control section. There are many many options. It is just whatever works best for you. When the flies are super super bad on a hot afternoon, I make sure all pets are indoors for several hours, then I just spray as much fly fogger as possible, such as Yard Guard or similar products. This is just a temporary fix and not my favorite as it is very expensive and I don't like the idea of chemicals. But if your having a family outing that evening or a special event at your place, it is the best 1-day fix.

Unless you live near a feed lot, I'd focus on where these flies are coming from. Moldy mulch, garbage, trash cans that are not getting emptied, and poop piles from cleaning up.

We bought some basil (boxwood and sweet) plant put them in pots and hung them on the outside of the coop and run. This has done a great job of getting rid of most of the flies we had.
