Help I have the meanest rooster!!!

If you have young children you need to get rid of that roo promptly! He is a serious danger to young kids. He could very well put an eye out, or scar them for life--don't try to make a pet out of him! I would never trust a rooster that I could not turn my back on, and there are many, many GOOD roosters that deserve a home. But even then, I would not have ANY rooster uncaged around young children.

I had a rooster who was not mean to the girls at all, but he hated people and he cornered my in the hen house once and I had to call huibby to rescue me...lol... but I just thought I was on his territory and I just dismissed it, but he was ok with me from that point on, but ONLY me, I have 4 kids under 7 and he would follow them around the fence and I never let them out, but this spring I figured he had been not bad all winter so I let them start to free range, and one day when I was cleaning out the hen house he jumped up on my 2 year old who apparantly wandered over to see what I was doing...
All I have to say is that he ended up in the pot ASAP, so I would suggest you get rid of him some way or another, especially if you have another rooster that is a nicer bird, its not worth keeping a bird that is mean
