Help! I need a salmon favorelle pullet in Wisconsin ASAP!

Here’s the story - (and I’m not sure if I’m spelling the breed name correctly)...


I got a rare breed egg assortment for my birthday last December and on January 29, 2019 out hatches the most darling salmon favorelle. Since I don’t know the breed at all and don’t have any - I placed her with the nicest family where a little girl took to the bird.

While away on vacation, despite someone attentively caring for the bird- she went missing. One can only assume predators. Anyway, the father returned home before the children for work- to find her gone. (They have a flock of five various breed hens)

He’s asked me to find a look alike and fast. Today is 6/24-19. He’s got five days.

We do know the little girl may know the difference but it’s a chance he’s willing to take.

Again, the bird was born 1/29/19 which made her about 21 weeks.
Gender is pullet/ hen
Color is buff (I assume the breed uses buff to ID the yellow plumage color?)

Correction - I have five weeks - not days. The girl is in Germany with her mother. I have a photo coming of the bird.

They use stock codes, so here they are for the Faverolles (regular size. Bantam size have different codes):

So, once you open up the state doc, use the "find" function on your computer to search the doc. "Find" is under "Edit" in the drop down menu, on my computer.

I found 2 places in WI, and several more in IL. However, your challenge will be getting a SF of that age. But, you have some time and may be able to find one.

Here are some NPIP listing from the above link that list SF as a breed they have in WI and IL. You can search the other 2 codes, and/or other states. Remember, they may advertise on CL or FB. So, you might find contact info online that way if no phone number listed.
