help I need advice pipping will it drown UPDATE 9/13 !!

This just threw me off because none of my other ones that hatched had this much or wasnt as noticeable!
this chick in concern has piped a lil further!

Is this your first time candling eggs?
If they have a week left ( in my opinion ) they egg pic you posted looks about right.

Chuck12, my duck eggs have a week to go, but the chicken egg (the one in the picture) is on day 19. Doesn't it look too small? Maybe it will make some progress overnite. I have candled and hatched duck eggs before but never chicken eggs.

afishel, I'm glad your little peeper is still moving along. I hope you can post pics once its out.
 
Our chick made it out just fine and right on time almost to the hour. Here she is. Silkie x Production Red cross.

ok here is baby that I posted about in the beginning I dont know if it's gonna make it or not! It is a cutie!

here is another pic of the babies bum! I dunno what to do It looks as if the yolk was not all taken in!! Like it came early but it was due saturday! it is dried and Im affraid this baby isnt pooping (dunno for sure) and it is so much smaller than the others that were born after it!?!?!

any ideas on what I can or should do this baby is acitive eats lil bit but also sleeps alot!
