I realize very little help can be offered through a forum but any advice anyone is willing to share with me will be very appreciated.

My coop is only suitable to house chickens for 3 months and it is on a property that is not mine back in a field away from any electrical source. Heating is not an option since I can't get electricity back there.

So I found a guy to take them in for me back in October and he has just emailed me stating that he is moving out and I need them gone by monday (2 days). What should I do!

I've been contacting every farm I know trying to get someone to take them in for me and I just can't find anyone.

I have one offer of someone to buy them but I have become attached to them and don't want to sell them

What would you guys do in this situation?

I'd sell. It would be selfish to keep them if you can't take care of them. I don't want to offend, but you have to take a step back from your emotion and do what is best for the animal ALWAYS.

southwestern ontario.... i agree selling is the most reasonable option. It's just hard because they are my first chickens and I raised them from a day old.. That being said I would rather another farm take them than to find them frozen in a week. Life was so easy 2 hours ago before I got the email to come pick them up!!
