So, I can't decide.
I was told one was blue, but it was not the blue I had in mind. Here are my choices. Based on personality - all are friendly and sweet. Which would YOU bring home?

They are all males, and I have a vet that will neuter them. I have his set up all ready, etc.

So, window shop with me.

Who would YOU bring home? (I am leaning toward the b&w one, but the breeder likes the second one best) and IT IS SUCH A HARD CHOICE!!!!!

I spin and I want a companion who gives me gorgeous fiber. I know it is hard to tell from pics and is subjective... but... its fun, too - right!?!

Take the "black and white" (broken pattern) one if you're spinning. White wool is easier to dye if you--or someone you give fiber to--decides they'd like to. It will also be more obvious if it gets anything on it but I'm sure you wash fiber before using it. White wool is probably going to be the most convenient choice and--in my opinion--the best looking rabbit though I know nothing about "standard" for angoras.

Honestly, for wool spinners, people who buy wool and on the show table, the rabbits with white in their coat win more often and bring more money in. REW and brokens have much more dense coats than other angora colors.

Since you are looking for a pet rabbit, the first thing I'd choose for is temperament. Spend some time holding them and figuring out which one suits your desires most (ie. do you want playful and independent, or cuddly and docile).

Since you want to spin, I'd go for the broken blue (or black...hard to tell from the photo), since as CYG said, that will allow you to dye the fiber more easily.

If you were using them for purposes other than pets, number 2 (is that a chestnut agouti guys?) is what I'd tell someone to go for due to the body and dense looking wool. That said, I myself wouldn't go for number 2 because I personally like angoras for pet purposes, and I find #1 to be the cutest with the most appealing face and inquisitive look about them.

The third (is that a chocolate tort?) might grab me most because I used to own a fawn English angora, and rabbits that remind me of him in any way tend to grab me most.

So basically, for your purposes, I'd go for #1 *unless* you like the personality of one of the other rabbits more.

Glad to hear they are all bucks. They tend to make far nicer pets than does.

I'm a sucker for rings around the eyes, but it is going to be your pet, so you should chose the one you like best and color should only be a very small part of it.

With my own rabbits, I've got one that has a really stand-out personality. It's immediately apparent and, of course, she's made herself into the favorite of everyone. So go and see the bunnies and if one really speaks to your heart, that's your guy.

I've got 4 with the rings around their eyes that I love, but the favorite is plain old gray. The plainest looking bunny on the property. So looks don't have much to do with getting the best pet.
