Hi y’all,
I purchased Dolly as a chick and was told she was a female. The fella we got her from said she was just a backyard mix, but he was erring on the side of Easter egger.
We’ve loved and appreciated her big wattle and comb as an endearing trait, but have recently seen some behaviors that make us believe she may be a male. She has never crowed (all of the roosters from her hatching have been crowing for some time now), but just in the last day or so started grabbing the girls by the neck like we’ve seen our roosters do. She was hatched April 1st.
Can y’all help? Is Dolly really a Donald?
