Greetings!
A little background- We have 13 hens that are a year old. 4 white leghorns, 1 golden comet, 3 plymouth rock, 5 rhode island red. All were bought at the same time and have been living in peace until last week.
I went out for my daily check and the chickens daily treat when I noticed one of the reds was being picked on. I went about my usual routine thinking it was just spat between the girls but it wasn't. Also she was drinking a lot of water and wouldnt eat the treat. I couldn't take hearing her squak and running around like crazy from being picked on so I took her out of the pen. After getting her out and taking a closer look her butt was a little pasty with a greenish poo so I cleaned her off (she had no problem with me handling her and seemed to enjoy the warm water when I cleaned her). Worried about the green poo and constant picking I separated her, this was last Thursday. She has been eating some and drinking but her poo is green and very small if any. I was telling my Vet about this and he thought she had worms so we did 3 days of pyrantel pamoate with no change. She was pacing today so I took her back to the general population and the picking continued and got worse. At one point there were 4 on her at one time so I took her out again because she had a scratch on her eyelid. I'm clueless what to do next??????????????????
Thanks in advance for any help!
