Hi everyone I am new to backyard chickens, the site as well as raising them :) I did as a child but first time trying on my own.

For their story:
Two months ago I bought some 3 month old chickens from a local lady, with half being pure brahmas and half being pure polish tops. When I reached home I noticed I had an extra chicken that looked sickly almost.... because it had no feathers and was tiny compared to even the polishes but then I realized it had feathered feet? soooo?? maybe a frizzle? And one of my "brahmas" had a crest and a beard!
So now I am in desperate need of help to figure out what breed these two mysteries are and their gender as well as the gender of the rest of them.

I am adding a ton of pics...any help will be greatly appreciated
Mystery bird #1 gender and breed?

Mystery bird #2 breed and gender?

Polish top #1 gender?

Brahma #1 gender?

Polish top #2 gender?

Brahma #2 gender?

Polish #3 gender?

I am fairly sure all the brahma and polishes are cockerels but the other two I am at a complete loss!
Thanks Everyone

can you get full body shots of them standing on there own. they dont all look like cockerels

Can we get some different pics? It's really hard to tell much of anything from what you've provided. Straight on side shots of the entire bird standing naturally are really helpful as are straight on shots of the comb and pics of the back from the top showing the feathering right in front of the tail. On Polish, it helps to be able to see the entire head showing the whole crest.

I suspect you have several crossbreeds there though. Brahmas are supposed to have pea combs and it looks like yours have single combs. Polish should have V combs and the one definitely has a single mixed comb.

The frizzle is a mix breed as well. It has very sparse leg feathering and 5 toes.

Sorry everyone for taking so long to respond, the email alerts were going in my spam folder....I do apologize.
Sure, I will try and get pics this morning, they free range most of the day and everytime I get close enough for a good body shots I get this
this is why I opted to hold them instead :)
I am going out now to try and get some good ones

Ok it took me almost an half an hour to get the pics because Mr BUTTONS the "brahma" in the pic above keeps coming in the camera shot, he/she is so sweet if I walk away he just follows and starts getting into shots over and OVER! :)
but here is what I was able to get
Mr Buttons aka Brahma #2

Brahma #1

Polish tophat

Mystery white chicken

Polish (hard to picture them alone)

The frizzle -ish hates the camera and kept running when he/she saw it

For personalities, I had thought they were all cockerels because they all seem to fight like roosters, with the hackle feathers raised up but then I began questioning my logic when I got a 6mth old hen 2 weeks ago that does that exact same hackle thing. So I began thinking the brahmas were hens, but the polish were roosters, however now both brahmas have some greenish feathers in their tail. However only one of the brahmas show possibly remnants of saddle feathers.
The mystery birds though....I don't see hackle or saddle feathers but the white one is difficult since he/she is 100% white and the frizzle-ish one has no feathers to look at!

Found a picture I didn't post about the little featherless one

The more I see "Mystery" chickens from hatcheries the more convinced I am that they are indeed "mystery" in that most are mixes. For instance the crested one with feathered legs is absolutely a polish mixed with cochin or bramah. The one obvious polish does look like a boy to me.

You know, I agree they are mixes, which saddens me a bit, because I fell in love with the personality of the "brahmas" and have been actively searching for a light brahma hen but after hearing the comments I don't even know what I really have... :(
You know I had thought it had some cochin as well...but I am soo new to this....I figured I better ask for help from the experts :)
