The beginning, I built a pond because I wanted fish!
DH told me that it goes no further than fish, he was okay with this because they slept outside.
OOPS! Then I came home with a kitten!
DH said he could sleep in the house until he was old enough to go outside. (Dear Kitty is now 4 years old and sleeps on DH's pillow)
Next my mom's farrier needed to find a home for his 2 puppies!
Cannot reiterate what DH said about this! DH built them a fabulous dog house so they wouldn't be cold. While building the dog house DH told me I couldn't even think of getting chickens!
OOPS! Came home with 9 chicks because my boss and I thought it would be fun to have pet chickens!
I got the STINK EYE look and "Where do you think your going to put those?" I hadn't a clue, was totally new to this. DH husband made our master bathroom garden tub into a brooder!!!!
Sadly these chickens were killed by a neighbor's dog shortly after they were moved into their coop!
Couple years later, I came home with 6 Hens!
He did not offer to help with the coop this time! He does go out to shut them up with me every night and he carries all of the feed to the feed trailer for me!
OOPS! Came home with GOATS! DH did not say a word!!!
He did build them a very nice loafing shed and he won't touch them but will talk to them!!!

FOUND BYC...IMMEDIATELY BECAME ADDICTED, BYC DOES WARN OF THIS!!!!!!!!! DH jokingly say's he's a chicken widow!!!
Now there is 29 chicks in the brooder in his shop, 2 roo's living in temporary quarter's in his shop and an incubator full of eggs on the kitchen counter!!
