Hi I have four eggs in my incubator and one egg has pipped at 1am this morning and has started to zip or just keep pipping at the hole and it hasn't progressed much and is heading towards the little end of the egg do I need to think about assisting it in getting out? Please help these are my first chick's I have ever incubated.

You can wait I believe 48 hours until you really have to help them. It usually takes a day for them to break out once they pipped.

GOOD LUCK!

I have just checked on the egg and it has made some progress but there is blood and other liquid coming out. It is still moving and making noise is it normal I have ataattac a photo

Welcome to hatching :) my first hatch I wanted so bad to get in there an help the little one I'd caught hatching.. kept telling myself to just leave it alone as you could cause more damage than letting them do it themselves.. I've had some go as quick as three hours and others take over 24.
