I'm not sure - do you think she is having trouble breathing? Whatever it is... If she does pass, you might want to have a necropsy since you had another die recently, that way you can treat the problem in the remaining birds.

If she is sitting in the water dish, hydration probably isn't the issue. It sounds like an Upper respiratory problem from your comment about her having a difficult time breathing. I am not sure what the treatment for that is or if there is one but it is highly contagious and spreads through the flock fairly quickly. If you had another bird die recently--you may want to do a search on symptoms and see if they are similar to the ones you are seeing. Good Luck.

Then contact your local Food and Health Safety Lab and have her sent in for a necropsy. It doesn't cost anything except the shipping.

Yes it is free. I would do it, especially because you lost one recently with similar symptoms. If you send her in you will know what happened, and what you are fighting up against if any more come down with it. It's a really good idea.
