I have recently aquired 6 chickens, 4 hens and 2 roosters. I definitely see these guys as pets/family and not the yard birds my grandmother talked about. So I am very concerned about their wellbeing. I have become worried about my oldest hen, Clover and could use some advice. Thanks, Kerri in Charleston,SC

Welcome Kerri!

Sorry to hear you're having problems. Post specifics about Clover in the illness/injury section describing what's wrong, and hopefully we can help you...

Welcome to BYC! There are great members in here that are very helpful :) I also have a section on my website that might help too. www.tillysnest.com. Look on the right under chicken care.

Thanks to all who have welcomed me to the flock. I am sure you could tell that I am scared for my Clover. I posted specifics under "crankie hen" in the injury and illness section because crankie and eggless is all I can qualify. Unfortunately, none of the responses I have received apply.

Please check my specifics and see if you can advise....

Again, I thank you all...
