This is the first time I've raised the grey ones, but I did keep a few to add to my breeding birds. They started laying at about 16 weeks and the eggs vary from light to medium brown. Broiler girls lay pretty good their first year, but after that not so great to hardly at all. I've never had one get broody.Geena, that does look like my chicken. I am not at all familiar with broilers since I only do egg layers. Any idea on egg production or color? Probably not broody? Thanks
