Looks like a male to me.I can see the green plumage coming on his head.Voice sexing will be the most accurate though.Try picking him up and listen to his voice if its raspy its a male if there is a loud quack its a female.
Yeap.....got the curly tail and raspy quack. Same goes for my blue swede too. They will kill the chicken hens by accident by trying to mate with them correct?

Never heard of that.Depends on there personality. They might grow up to be really nice.Do you have any other ducks/Females for them?

No I don't. We are over ram with males now. 2 male ducks and 3 roosters and only 3 hens....been working on getting rid of the roosters l, slow process, luckily they are only about 2 months old

Yes, this can happen.

For those that don't know roosters, foam the opening of the hen. where as duck males, Drakes have penises and if they mate with a hen they do a lot of damage with their member. Duck sex is extremely ruff much worse than chicken sex, so that compounds the likely hood of injury. It's not a guarantee that the drake will try to mate with a hen and if there are enough female ducks, he may not, but it's not at all worth the risk. Give him away or put him on the dinner table, that would be my advise.

We don't have any females ducks. The 2 Drakes I have were suppose to be females but as our luck is going we are being over ran by males, 2 drakes instead females and 3 Austalorp Roosters instead of Hens. Have been trying to give away the roos but no luck

Argh, I have been in your shoes. To many males are an issue for sure. That is how I ended up slaughtering my first chicken. I couldn't give away 2 of my 5 roosters so I finally made the decision. I'm not suggesting you do that if you don't want to I'm just lamenting that it's not a great situation to be in.
