Help id gender on possibly sex linked chicks.

I say it the RIR cross because the chick is red, the offspring of the copper maran cross is black with a white underbelly and those two roosters don't let the rest mount the hens.

RIR when crossed with another chicken doesn't mean the baby is red because the dad. I had a Splash rooster over blue and brown hens and they produced a red + yellow baby. When you have a pen of mixed breeds and you don't know who the father and mother are, the chicks can be -any- color. Red does not equal the RIR. ANY of those males could be the father.

Also, how many males to females do you have? You might want to cut down on the number of males you have, especially if you want accurate results and to create an actual sex-linked chick. Take your favorite solid male and your barred females to create a sex-link where the males will be barred and the females solid.

With so many males in there, and two you said that block the other males from breeding, those two are the dominant ones are the ones breeding your hens. Either one of them could fertilize the eggs you hatched.
