I had to ask, she is so knowledgable. My SLW look nothing like the ones she pictured, unless there is a difference between the Laced and Penciled. Hope she didn't tire out from all the advice, I need an answer, lol
I do know that they are different....you should do a search for pics of the penciled ones to see if you can find some. And yes she does know alot, I hope we dont wear her out
Don't recall ever seeing the Penciled ones in any of the searches I have done, mine are most black with just the tips of their feathers in white. Now I got to go look this up, lol THX
You GUYS! There is a difference in the pencilled and the laced, but I dont have a picture myself. Go here for pics of all different types of Wyandottes and there is a great one of a pencilled pair. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Wyand/BRKWyand.html
Sorry, I know nothing about SS Hamburgs. SEE, I don't know everything, LOL.
Wendy, everything about chickens, not literally everything, LOL! Seriously, I'm happy to answer what I can and if I can't, I'll say so. And I can't tell about the SSH's in the picture, sorry. No experience with that breed at all, but look up how that breed was made and you may find that there was a single-combed breed used in its development. That's why Wyandottes sometimes pop up with a single comb, because of their Cochin ancestry.
