The comb doesn't look like a straight comb from these angles. If it's not a straight comb, it'll be a Dominique.

Definitely a Dominique.

Barred Rock


Their Barring is fairly identical (to me) - they feather slow and get crisp barred markings. Their combs are very different, however. Doms have Rose combs and Barred Rocks have Straight combs

Old timers called them "Domineckers." I think they may have called any barred bird by this name.
