help ID this spider

You forgot the FANGS! They have FANGS!!!... like...like Count Dracula! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!!!

Not exactly true. Male spiders of web-building species build webs until their final molt. After they molt for the last time they set out in search of females and aren't much interested in eating. They do, however, have spinnerettes and FANGS!! FANGS!!! FANGS!!!

Yea the really colored ones are kinda creepy.I have seen at times totaly white ones here Yucky.I have learned however to get over some of my Arachnaphobia.Last week I went down to basement to get the chicks water.I guess the darn thing was maybe on side of box and I didnt see it by time I got to top of steps there was a coochy old Funnel spider on my hand.I found another in the brooder just a couple days ago> He was lucky lol one of the bigger cochin chicks had done spied him and was going for him. Whaaaaa the spider was Pretty good size too.I got him out with litter scoop and chucked it in the bucket and dumped him outside fence.It's getting cold and they will be looking for winter homes inside.

A few years ago I saw my first cat eared spider, it wqas a yellowish color and cool...and I HATE spiders. However, some do not bother me too much, like daddy long legs, cat ears, etc.
We have been remodeling our living room and noticed I pretty much have a group of cat eared spiders living outside my front door. They are pretty cool. I did destroy the web though, as it was in my way but there is a nest the one build, its an orangy pink color like cotton candy in the top of the door frame.
I just hate the skinny brown spiders that look similar to the recluse. If I cannot tell what it is and its brown and fast I WILL FREAK OUT!!!

i think its beautiful. I like spiders and I rescue any i find inside. I cant even bring myself to kill black widows, though i will take them far away from the house into the woods. Most spiders (at least in N. Cal.) aren't agressive. Imagine how scary looking we are to them! Orb weavers are beautiful spiders and make beautiful webs that catch nasty bugs. I wish I had them in my yard.
