Help Identify A Weird Track??

My suggestion is if you have a game camera put it up. A lot of times critters will use the same trails and have routines and maybe it will be back and then the mystery will be solved. We have a wild turkey that comes around. Good luck...

I'm not setting a game camera across the road. The tracks are along the rocky, dirt road between our house, & the railroad tracks, & airport.

I found more evidence of gators.
I found two sets of baby gator tracks, I took pictures of the best set of tracks.

It has the tail drag.

The tracks are about 5 inches apart from one side of the tail drag to the other.
I forgot to include this detail.

That's your choice. I just can't imagine an alligator in Michigan, even young gators. They will probably survive the summer months but not in the winter.

I did come across some articles of some alligators found in Michigan. According to the article, there are 2,000 to 3,000 alligators in private ownership just in Michigan. With the state not regulating alligators, though, there is no way to track their numbers definitively.

Yeah, I know. Lots of people who own them also either have escapees, or release them into the wild when they decide they don't want them anymore.
