They're so precious! We call ours "Willow". That's funny that you mentioned that about the blue feathers because Willow seemed to take much longer than the brooder mates to get wing feathers to come in. They started but came in very slowly. They seem okay looking now, but I'll definitely keep that in mind as it grows.
So do you have all Bantams? I LOVE your pictures as you seriously have some gorgeous birds! Did you get a chance to look at the coloring in my chipmunk chicks? If so, do you think they're all different colors?
Just as I predicted, my daughter fell even more in love with Blueberry. Now she's hoping Willow is a cockerel, because apparently she "needs" Blueberry. She's began coming up with different names that relate to Blueberry, hahaha! He is so handsome and might just be my all time favorite to look at. How do you have such beautiful birds? We're in love with him, but you certainly have MANY that I LOVE. Thank you again for sharing. They've definitely brought many smiles for us.
Also, Erica, my daughter, is hoping our frizzle Cochin is a male, for your female, hahaha! She's only 8, but I believe she's trying to figure out a way to see your birds in real life. I'm assuming you're in TN, and even though our states are close, that's a LONG drive. I went to Gatlinburg as a child with my family on multiple occasions, for my graduation trip, and again for my honeymoon. That was such a long trip but my favorite part was always the tunnels that went through the mountains. It was scary but always fun. I think we had to honk our car horn at least once, every single time, just to hear the echo.
Edited to add; I promise that we are not crazy stalkers that you have to worry about. Hahaha! I read back over my reply and thought that I might sound like a crazy stalker chicken lady.
Aww, that's sweet. Unfortunately, breeding one frizzle to another frizzle results in bad feathering and poor health.
Huckleberry is the name for wild blueberries.

If Willow is a girl, and we get a boy out of our babies, you are welcome to him. If Willow is a boy and we get several blue girls, you may have one also. We know we can't keep them all. We just want, at least, a pair and are happy to help you have a pair also.
We actually live in Wilson, NC now, so we are not super far away! We did live right over the state line in TN, 30 min from Gatlinburg.
The original plan was four EE for eggs since we live in town. Then I discovered that our county and City have no poultry ordinances. We ended up with 63 birds. We got down to 34 before chick days started up again.
We have: standard- 6 EE, 2 Welsummer,1 Marans, 2 Buttercups, 1 Turken
Bantam- 2 EE, 5 OEGB, 6 Cochin, 4 d'Uccle, 1 black rosecomb, 1 sebright, 1 Silkie
I know I'm forgetting someone though.
Every bird we have came from
TSC. We feed them All Flock feed so the roos don't get too much calcium.
No, I don't think you are a crazy stalker. I have probably been seen that way myself. I am an elementary school teacher. (Art) and am the kind of person who may strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.
