Help Identify Bantam Chicks

Pics
That is so crazy! Do you see the exact differences in my 3 or am I crazy? It's like you took a picture of my chicks, hahaha! I LOVE their differences because I was worried that I'd have trouble telling the differences between them. I can see a teeny hint of pink in the combs of 2 of mine, but on 1 of them it comes and goes, so now I'm thinking I have at least 2 cockerels. Lord willing, I'd be thrilled to have at least one OEGB in these colors that's a pullet. I can't find anything else that my tiny blue chick might be except for the True Blue OEGB, which would put me on cloud 9!
Are you talking about the little lavender one?

Yes, that's the one I'm hoping will be a (can't remember if it's called true blue or self blue) blue OEGB. I'm not familiar with lots of breeds, but I can't find much in birds of that color with slate/black skin and clean legs/feet. Any thoughts? I did get individual pictures of my 3 chipmunk chicks and they all look different, so I'm so excited to find out what I have! I am fairly certain that only 1 out of the 3 chipmunks is a pullet though. The lavender chick is still looking and acting pullet. Not sure on any of the others.

We picked up three self blue OEGB babies at TSC today. We are hoping for at least one pullet to go with our self blue roo.

I'm 95% certain this one is a cockerel. It's definitely got some lungs and screams like we're being brutal anytime we attempt to hold it, despite my best efforts in trying to be as calming and reassuring as possible. I am beginning to see a teeny bit of pink in the comb, so that's where my assumption on the gender came from. This one has more brown in its feathers.

This next one is the sweetest chick and seems to really enjoy being held. I am 97% certain this one is a cockerel, due to the little bit of pink in the comb plus the fact that it's so comfortable with us. This one is almost a heathered black. It's speckled with black, white and gray.

I'm still holding out hope this one is a pullet. It's curious but very cautious and very quiet. This one has a more uniformed greyish color with a hint of brown. We're calling this one Ramona

I'm not sure she's frizzled, but there is something going on with her feathers. I had a self blue little guy last fall that had feathers like that. Someone here told me that something about the genes in self blue, sometimes you get these crazy feathers. His ended up looking like they were tattered. It can also make their comb look purple. Your baby is already much prettier than Junior here.

It looks like we actually picked up four!

They're so precious! We call ours "Willow". That's funny that you mentioned that about the blue feathers because Willow seemed to take much longer than the brooder mates to get wing feathers to come in. They started but came in very slowly. They seem okay looking now, but I'll definitely keep that in mind as it grows.

So do you have all Bantams? I LOVE your pictures as you seriously have some gorgeous birds! Did you get a chance to look at the coloring in my chipmunk chicks? If so, do you think they're all different colors?

Just as I predicted, my daughter fell even more in love with Blueberry. Now she's hoping Willow is a cockerel, because apparently she "needs" Blueberry. She's began coming up with different names that relate to Blueberry, hahaha! He is so handsome and might just be my all time favorite to look at. How do you have such beautiful birds? We're in love with him, but you certainly have MANY that I LOVE. Thank you again for sharing. They've definitely brought many smiles for us.

Also, Erica, my daughter, is hoping our frizzle Cochin is a male, for your female, hahaha! She's only 8, but I believe she's trying to figure out a way to see your birds in real life. I'm assuming you're in TN, and even though our states are close, that's a LONG drive. I went to Gatlinburg as a child with my family on multiple occasions, for my graduation trip, and again for my honeymoon. That was such a long trip but my favorite part was always the tunnels that went through the mountains. It was scary but always fun. I think we had to honk our car horn at least once, every single time, just to hear the echo.

Edited to add; I promise that we are not crazy stalkers that you have to worry about. Hahaha! I read back over my reply and thought that I might sound like a crazy stalker chicken lady.

Aww, that's sweet. Unfortunately, breeding one frizzle to another frizzle results in bad feathering and poor health.
Huckleberry is the name for wild blueberries. 😄 If Willow is a girl, and we get a boy out of our babies, you are welcome to him. If Willow is a boy and we get several blue girls, you may have one also. We know we can't keep them all. We just want, at least, a pair and are happy to help you have a pair also.
We actually live in Wilson, NC now, so we are not super far away! We did live right over the state line in TN, 30 min from Gatlinburg.
The original plan was four EE for eggs since we live in town. Then I discovered that our county and City have no poultry ordinances. We ended up with 63 birds. We got down to 34 before chick days started up again.
We have: standard- 6 EE, 2 Welsummer,1 Marans, 2 Buttercups, 1 Turken
Bantam- 2 EE, 5 OEGB, 6 Cochin, 4 d'Uccle, 1 black rosecomb, 1 sebright, 1 Silkie
I know I'm forgetting someone though.
Every bird we have came from TSC. We feed them All Flock feed so the roos don't get too much calcium.
No, I don't think you are a crazy stalker. I have probably been seen that way myself. I am an elementary school teacher. (Art) and am the kind of person who may strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.
