Help identify breed please?

Hello all, I am brand new to the site and to chickens in general. A good friend of ours gave us these five wonderful chickens. They are now about 9 weeks old. From the looks of the one,he is definitely a rooster but I am unsure of the others.
I have no idea what breed any of them are. They are beautiful birds.
Can anyone give me some input at to breed, gender etc?

They look like Polish crosses. The bird in the first picture is a cockerel the rest look like pullets.

Thats great. Thanks for the information. We originally thought we have several more roosters when they were 4 weeks old but it look like we lucked out.

The roo obviosuly is a cross or has the wrong comb. All crested breeds, I believe, have a v comb.
The hens look like appenzellers...but the tails could be polish.
Because they ate crested, they could be the following.
Crevecoeur
Appenzeller
Polish

If they have five toes,
Then possibly houdans

But the roo looks cross.

No not all crested breeds have a V Comb.
Just to name a few.
There are crested breeds with a Pea Comb as in the Araucana (U.K.) the Silkie has a Walnut Comb and the Cream Legbar and the Toppy Gamefowl has a Single Comb.
