I have 6 chickens Help tell me how many are pullets.

This is Rowdy

This is Winnie

This is Lucky (we thought this was a silkie when we purchased it, what do you think maybe a Polish?)

This is Chip (another one of those "silkies" that we think maybe a Polish)

George the "silkie" or more likely Polish

We also have one other and the picture I have is not that great, I will let you see if you can tell,
Jewel the Speckled Sussex

At the stage of growth they're in now, they all seem to be pullets to me.

All the supposed silkies ARE polish - very cute too!

The white crested black polish looks to be a cockerel. The wattles are too big for a girl, and the way the hair slicks back is distinctive of a male, but polish are tricky. I have a hen that does not have the normal pullet crest, and she lays eggs (though not often).

I am pretty sure they don't sell sexed polish.. I think you may have more than one cockerel out of the polish, but I am not going to say they are for sure until they are older.

The other breeds look to be female, though your barred girl has such a red face!

thank you all! My barred rock does have a red face not sure why I was kinda scared it was a cockerel. I am excited about my little flock and my kids love them. Winnie the red sex link is the friendliest chicken I have ever meet, she will sit on my lap and let me pet her, also the kids carry her around like she is a doll. I had no idea that my silkies could be impostors until a friend on facebook told me they looked polish. I appreciate all your feedback!

yr imposters look like sultans [but looks like you have a cross breed in them as they dont look pure] maybe just maybe crossed with a silkie but i think more of a mutt bird

a Turkish breed

Very interesting, I will look into this. My little avatar picture on the side are of 2 of the birds in question when they were only days old. I guess the only thing I am sure of with them is that they are not silkies. Thank you for responding.

I doubt that they are sultans, as they have clean legs :)
