Help Identify my Exotic Chick *PIC*

its proberly the same breed of chick as the other yellow ones but crossed with another black chicken
but whatever he is hes very very cute

I went to the site to see what they looked like for curiosity's sake. WOW, I would love that chicken. I might have to add on to my girls as this is the type chicken my grandmother had. I could sit and watch them for hours! (Lived in the country, not much to do ha ha ha)

I think it is admirable that you are considering raising chickens for meat. I know it is best to know what you are eating and exactly from where it came but I cannot bring myself to eat any of my flock. I wish I could remain detached. Alas, I have some in my flock that are five+ years old. Good luck to you. Please keep us posted.

Hello All, sorry it's been so long since my last post. He is definately a Lakenvelder or at least he looks just like one. And definately a HE, he's starting to crow. I have him with all my hens and they seem to be getting along. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep him or not, but now that I see he will be a smaller breed I just might. He won't be so hard on the hens as a standard rooster because he is so much smaller than a standard rooster.
I think he is maturing faster than the hens too, even thought they were born on the same day.
I will post a new picture ASAP. He is a beautilful bird, already has a few tail feathers at 10 weeks. Be back soon!
