We recently acquired this chicken from someone who doesn’t know what breed she is. They *think* she is around 4-5 months old and she is very friendly! Does anyone have any insight?

Yes!Looks like a Austrolorp!
We aren’t really sure where she came from. She might have come from a hatchery… or not. Our friend owns a chicken farm, and his roommate got chicks from a hatchery about 5 months ago. They think this girl is from that batch of chicks… But they say it’s also possible she came from a neighbor because she sort of just showed up in the garage one day and wanted to hang out, and didn’t leave their side. She doesn't quite have the body type of an Australorp. I'm not sure what else she could be, though. Do you know if she came from a hatchery? If she didn't, she's probably a mix. Cute, though.
And I would guess she's closer to 4 months with how small her comb is, so maybe she'll fill out a bit.
My austrolorps have all started very similar. They get the shape around the time they started laying. She doesn't quite have the body type of an Australorp. I'm not sure what else she could be, though. Do you know if she came from a hatchery? If she didn't, she's probably a mix. Cute, though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. She could fill out. If she doesn't though, I'd guess she was a mix. All my Australorps are chunky-floofy.M

Our girl looks very similar to the first photo!
