Help identify this bunny breed please.

I was told they were New Zeland bunnys. I just thougt someone may be able to confirm.
I have only had a rex bunny before and they are much bigger then those.

Wellll, it's possible that they might be pure New Zealands, if they came from someone who had a funky colors breeding program. New Zealands are currently accepted in Black, Red, and of course, White. They recently became recognized in Broken, as well. Your two rabbits are an Opal and a Blue. There are people working on getting Blue recognized; I haven't heard about anyone working on Opal. If you crossed Reds with Blues, you'd have all the necessary genes available to get Opals, so it isn't outside the realm of possibility. On the other hand, they may be largish meat-type mixed breeds, too.

Any chance they could be New Zealand/Flemish Giant crosses? That seems to be a pretty popular cross with the commerical meat rabbit people.

I am not sure. I know the lady had californian and new zeland. Atleast that was all I saw there. They are very sweet bunnies.

Flemish giant definitely. I had a blue one much like that named Gulliver.
