Help identifying an Easter egger gender

I agree that the comb is pretty red, but I have been seeing some posts of birds that age, and people are saying it's a pullet at point of lay...so, now I don't know how to tell the difference between a POL pullet and a young cockerel.

Out of curiosity, what kind is your blue (gray) bird?

A POL pullet will be about 15 weeks old when she starts to have comb/wattle growth that is turning red (depending on breed). By the time a cockerel is that age he will have already developed hackle and saddle feathers and his feather color will be developed as well. For me, the hardest ones to sex are around 12 or 13 weeks when the bird could be a fast developing pullet or a slow developing cockerel.

It’s hard, that bird has so many mixed signals. I’ll give it a couple more weeks and see how if anything changes with her.

The other two birds are blue/black/splash orphingtons. The black one has a great blue hue on her feathers in the right light.

Quick update. Here are some pictures at 15 weeks now.
