help identifying gender

Supposed to be female Isa Brown. Is this true? Suspect it may be a male. About 10 wks old.

Not a very good picture but it looks like a pullet.

Assuming it is an Isa Brown, it's a pullet. Male Isa Browns are primarily white.

ISA Browns are sex-linked so that the males are white with a little bit of red and the females are red with a little bit of white. Since yours is mostly red you have a guaranteed pullet.

I have 2 sex links. They had identical markings, then one turned light, with a dusting of red on wings. Oh no, a roo! After about 2 weeks of me giving 'him' the stink eye, the red started filling in over the whole body. So, if you have the right female coloring as a 1 day old, it's safe to say you have a pullet - no matter how they try to tease you!
