Hi friends! I have a couple young chickens that I'm on the fence about whether they're males or females. Can you help? They're EE's, both about 7 and a half/8 weeks old. I was under the impression that red (or in this case copper?) patches on the wings indicates roo in EE's but this one's (the gray/cooper one) comb is so small and I just don't see pointed hackles. It has started facing off a lot recently with the other one pictured. The other one (black and white) seems to have a yellowish/red comb, also super small, but stands very erect and holds its tail very erect as well. I just noticed a very small gold patch on its back as well as on it's wings (you really have to look for them). My other younguns are pretty obvious but these two have me stumped. Thoughts?
