Help Identifying my new hens..please.

I just picked these guys up at a swap 2 weeks ago, I *thought* they were french marans. Well, they are not suite as big as any of my other hens, (maybe 4/5 the size?) but they lay crazy small eggs. What are they, exactly? Thanks, in advance, one would think the person selling them would have corrected me and told me they werent what I thought. Note Feathers on their feet. They are super skiddish and wiley. But good with baby chicks

Being bantams with feathers on the feet I would have to guess Black Cochin, but not sure if this is right

They just dont seem that small (bantams). they are *nearly* full sized hens

They could be a cross between a LF bird and a bantam. Cute birds!

I can not think of any that would lay small white eggs. Could they be some kind of mixed breed maybe?

Sort of tannish, freckled eggs, though maybe they are just new layers? only the second day of eggs
