Hi thanks. Yesterday i posted that this Heritage Plymouth Rock has some bright red head feathers. It's beautiful but is it common?

Would you know why he has red feathers on his head? or is that norm?

I'm not seeing any red feathers on his head in the photo.
The only feathers I see are black-and-white.
I do see a red comb on his head (that red thing that sticks up, covered with skin, not feathers.)

A red comb is normal, red feathers would not be normal for a Barred Rock.
If he has actual feathers that are red, then I'm just not seeing them

i am not shore wen it comes to bard rocks but i do know that i have some mottled pekin bantams that have red or orange feathers around the head
