All look like mixes to me, except the 7th pictured, it looks like it could be a barred Plymouth Rock, but considering that the others are mixed he may not be pure. Where did you get them?

I figured they were mixes. We bought them from another hobby chicken farmer. Was thinking Black Australorp (can’t find the pic now!), possibly cream leg bar (pic 8)?. Interested to figure out what the third guy is. Perhaps some Cuckoo Maran in a couple?

Legbars have straight combs, they also have small crests, so he isn’t one, unfortunately. I don’t see any Australorps.

I wouldn’t say there’s Marans in any of them, obviously one parent was barred but I’d lean more to a barred Plymouth Rock for a parent because of the yellow legs. They seem very mixed so I wouldn’t know where to start with heritage though.

Hi there, welcome to BYC! :frow

Yep, lots of pretty barnyard cross boys with some EE in the mix... I identify them as supper! :drool
Yup. Some are going to be. Just have to figure out which ones to keep. Way too many! There’s quite a few EE hens so wondered if the roosters would have some as well. Not good at identifying breeds yet though

Nope, he’s mixed, Australorps have single combs. Some may be what some people in the US refer to as ‘Easter Eggers’, but they aren’t a breed and there’s no standard, they usually have Ameraucana heritage but this isn’t written in stone. So unfortunately, they’re all mixes. I’d keep the ones with the best temperaments :)
