I've been looking up the dark cornish now that you've helped me figure out what she is. Is there a bantam (that means small right?) version? I've read they are large birds but ours is the smallest of the flock, but otherwise seems to fit the descriptions in terms of temperament. She's the bottom of the flock order and is usually the target of the Brahma's attention (in a negative way).
Also disappointed to read they aren't good egg producers. That's why we got the birds (that and the experience of it all for my son). They are pets now so eggs or no eggs they are staying. Sawyer (the dark cornish) is my favorite, even though the Brahma is more fun to watch.
