Help IDing chick

My coworker's daughter surprised her last week by showing up with a chick. I've taken it in since she asked since we have some already. Any guesses as to breed? And if it obvious look wise gender but I'm guessing it will be a waiting game on that if will stay here or have to have her find another home for it when it gets older.

No leg feathers, no poofy cheeks or beards.

No clue her daughter came home in the middle of the night with this little mystery chick. I love our EE girls we have. Makes me nervous if this is one though cause I know most of the time random splotches of color leads to a cockrel on them and it has a couple black feathers on the one wing and not the other. Also know they're generally a wait it out breed as I thought our Waffle was going to end up a boy but she's our only blue layer and cuddle bug

Wow!! Definitely keep updating as it grows but I'm thinking it's most likely an Easter Egger!
