So basically 1 hen lays 1 egg every 3 days.
That would mean that 1 chicken would lay 4 eggs every 12 days. (12days÷3days=4)
If all the chickens are on the same exact laying schedule... 12 hens will lay 48 eggs in 12 days. (12hens X 4eggs-per-12-days) 12X4=48
But luckily most hens will lay more than that!
