Help In Maine

I just got 6 baby chickens. They are 3 weeks old. I am working on the chicken coop and was just wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on things in Maine i.e. winter, skunks, racoons. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you researched the Coop & Run Design and Construction section of the forum? There's also a search feature at the top of the page. It sounds like you need a lot of information. Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens has a whole section on coop building. See if your local library has a copy.

Yes, I have been a reading fool! I have found sooo much information it is almost overwhelming! Thank you for the advise. I think I will be heading to Barnes & Noble on my lunch break today!
