I have eggs on the incubator and my first one hatched over 24hrs ago. I now have two more just born but more are peeping how do I get the first one out without shrinking the ones prepping.

The risk of any unhatched chicks becoming shrink wrapped from you opening the incubator for 5 minutes if slim. Just make sure everything is stable after you close it again.

The hatched chicks can go without food and water for a few days after hatching. I'd leave the oldest chick in the incubator for now. After the other two have completely dried off, then move them to the brooder.

So it will be ok for the one that has been hatched since noon yesterday to stay in there longer. The rest of the eggs just started this morning?

Is that true for quail chicks too? About the food and water?

I remove my hatched chicks from the incubator in pairs once they have dried off. I've done this with other eggs pipped and have had successful hatches.
