HELP! Incubator quit day 26!

He's Gonna need a LOT OF cleaning.. A LOT.  Let me prepare you he may not make it..  Will do our best to help the little bugger but he's got a huge mess there..

Ok. And by the way, the zipper I helped out, his navel stringy stuff is still attached and he's tromping all over it - should i snip it so he doesn't hurt his naval or just leave it alone?

Another question, is it normal for their eyes not to open for a while? The one whose head i pulled out, i see bumps where his eyes are but they're not open - freaking me out a little, lol. He is still in the same position btw

with that one he internally pipped for over 36 hours, I think she said 60 to be exact, can't remember, well if we kept him like that, he would adventually run out of air and died, we are helping to give him a second shot at life.  SOOO, this is how it's done. LOL

ASK AWAY, I LOVE QUESTIONS

Oh yes that makes sense. Thanks! :)

Anyone know if I should try to give tem water from a dropper or something while they are still fluffing up? Maybe it's just that they're tired but they seem thirsty, one is trying to chew on a towel in there.

That's because towels are fun to chew on. My Cayuga LOVES towels. She nibbles the edges and tries to pull it back and get under it.

They should be fine without water while they're fluffing. Lacrystol? You'd know much better than I.

Really? I didn't realize they were so large. I just loved the looks of them and said I want some! Lol

I know, they're really pretty. I didn't realize how much larger she'd be than the others. She's probably half again the size of my Welsh Harlequin. My Cayuga is just a little bit smaller, though.

They will chew on whatever is in sight! That's actually a good sign if they are trying. Just make sure there aren't any loose strings. And they should be fine for a while without water. I had a little 1/4 cup measuring cup in mine for humidity and they started drinking it. Then I got scared they would drown in it. Luckily it was almost empty so they just finished it off.
