I have 6 silkie eggs currently in lockdown on day 20. Humidity was at 60-70% the temp was pretty stable from 98-100 but for about an hour I guess the incubator shut off and the temp is now 78 degrees but I turned it back on. Did I kill them?

No you didn't kill them, try not to worry. At this late stage in incubation the chicks will be producing heat of their own and the egg takes much longer to cool even though the air temp had gotten low.

Good luck with your hatch :fl

Thank you!! I'll let you know how it works out! I orginally started out with 24 eggs from two seperate breeders but only 6 were fertile.

Ahh so frustrated!! I have an app called hatchabatch and it tracks your hatches for you and reminds you when to candle and stuff. It's a day off which I didn't realize until my second hatch because I thought they were just a late hatch due to temp. So actually today is day 21 but nothing so far. Not a peep or rock.
