Help-injured 3 Month Old Rhode Island Red Any Sugesstions?

We think he was injured by our dog-he's still alive no punture marks just wobbly uncontrolable neck. He does ok for about 30 seconds and then he falls over. What do you think? can he be saved? We can get him to drink and eat, and we have him isolated. Any suggestions would help-we're new at this and aren't sure if he can be saved. Thanks!

So sorry this happened your roo. You already stated that you have him isolated, I would make sure you have him a a small cage so that he can't move around too much. This will help keep him quieter and more still so he can heal. He may have internal injuries in spite of not having puncture wounds. Make sure he does get plenty of water. Add gatorade, sugar or some kind of vitamins and electrolytes to the water. Offer him treats like peas, yogurt scrambled eggs to keep him eating. Short of taking him to a vet, just keep him warm, safe and quiet and watch him. Good luck

Thanks yo soo much for your reply-I think I just needed some reassurance that what wehave done is ok. He is eating grasshoppers and chicken feed out of our hands and drinking lots of water and watered down gatorade. He;s up and moving alittle better today-but still has wobbly neck-do you think we should try to splint it somehow?
