We also have a farm vet who usually sees large animals, but they will see chickens, too. I would guess a duck as well.

Was this a dog you know yours or neighbor? if neighbor I'd def let them know.

I've seen some pretty gory injuries here on BYC and it is amazing how these birds can recover but they can so make sure the wound has been cleaned really well hepiclens or saline rinse to wash it out real good, and then keep her secluded and quiet with food and water close by, she may not eat or drink until she is over the shock though. Depending on how deep the wound is depends on what to use on it. You might want to think about an antibiotic and if you are in the USA you can order on line.
