This is a photo of last night and now, there's still a tiny bit of intestine hanging out
Baby has been kept on a clean baby blanket with the organ iodined and kept moist

What can I do???? Will the baby make it

This baby is from my favorite pair and the only one that survived from the clutch

Baby just pooped a couple minutes ago too
Hope that's a good sign

): I'm not a vet, that seems like a big deal. Is there a vet near you

It looks like where the umbilicus[yolk sac] was attached and will probably continue to be absorbed and dry up with iodine keep it on clean towels or blankets to keep it from catching on something and making it worse.

I was told to leave it alone and that's what I did, it disappeared yesterday c: she's doing great

Here's Judy yesterday grooming her puppy and her outside with her one month old friends
(They live in separate areas where they can see each other and talk to each other, Judy has three plush bird friends (a mandarin duck, an oriel, and a bluejay) and when they're out together they are always supervised)
