I absolutely will! I am beginning to feel much more confident.

I think, later on after a couple of weeks, I will attempt to reintroduce Mrs. Turkey to the flock. She is a bit of a bully though... and our roo beats her up a lot because of her attitude... LOL

That is one of the funniest names I have heard in a while. I haven't actually officially named any of mine yet... as I was waiting to make sure that none of them were roosters.

Everybody cracks up when they hear her name. I was suprised that I named my chicks in the correct gender. Also, Mary Poopins layed her first egg yesterday!

hahahahaha... no... she's a couple of years old. She would be tougher than turkey jerky...

She has a broken wing and a hurt leg. When we got her, she was abused... a particular person had plucked her feathers. She was in horrible shape. She is actually a royal palm turkey... but you wouldn't know it from these pictures...

She looks NOTHING like this now.

I am very close to her... if I have to separate her to keep her from getting hurt... I'm fine with it...

We bought a butterball... but we could always save that for hard times...............
