To all who replied and offered advice...thank you. Thank you for your help and concern. As time went on, it became obvious that this little tyke was never going to walk. His legs just weren’t right and didn’t seem stable through the thigh. This morning he was crying and crying and was in much distress, so I made the decision to ease his suffering. It was such a hard decision, but he was already starting to lose weight. While he would take a couple drops of electrolytes, I couldn’t get him to take food. It was obvious he wouldn’t survive and would never walk, so I did what I thought was best. I know I’m not the first to have to make this decision, but it was the first time I’ve had to make this decision and it was my first incubation. On the bright side, I have 16 healthy babes in the tote and they’re all doing well.
