As we all know Silkies are difficult to determine the sex of, at first I thought this little one was looking very much like a pullet but recently "she" is starting to develop some hard feathers and now I'm unsure
Behaviour wise, it acts like a girl and the stance says girl. I should add I am unsure on the exact age of her as I got her from a lady who didn't know her age either. I estimate she's 16 -18 weeks based on the size she was when I got her.

Tell me what you think.

It is hard to say. S/he does have waddles developing that could be a sign s/he’s a cockerel, though the feathers on his/her head are more rounded like a pullet. I am leaning more towards cockerel as his/her comb is fairly big. Everyone here is going to be making a guess, not a guarantee, that’s what I always say about silkie sexing.

Thank you, until recently I was definitely leaning towards pullet due to the head feathers and he or she is a very shy little thing but in the last week I've noticed the waddles and comb are developing.

I'm leaning towards pullet on this cutie if s/he is older than 12 weeks or so which s/he appears to be. The comb isn't that small but it isn't that big either. Those wattles aren't looking very big considering s/he is non bearded. I'm not seeing streamers from the crest either.

Of course it's just a guess though....silkies can be tough!

Fingers crossed!

How old? If the silkie is over 16 weeks I would say pullet. But it looks a lot younger.
This is the hard part, I don't know the exact age. I guessed around 8 weeks when I got her because she didn't need heat anymore which would make her 17 weeks if that was correct. It's not a great pic but this is 4 weeks after I got her, which if would make her around 12 weeks if I'm correct.
